Remington MS2-390 Almost perfect.
This razor works great once you get one that actually fully operates. The first one I got, the trimmer did not work. I returned it and the second one works great. I really like the full width trimmer, when I don't shave over the weekend I just pop it up to the halfway mark and it gives me a great preshave. I have a goatee and I have no problem using it to shape up. I don't know why people complain about the trimmer being too big, it works fine for me.

After using a blade for 40 years I found this shaver to be wonderful - close shave, easy to work, charges quickly and is easy to clean. I totally recommend it.
Remington MS2-390 Microscreen Product exceeds expectations at great price.
After I search on the web for Electric Razors performance I fin out that this product accomplish the task for everyday use and is a easy way to clean and re assemble and the most wonderful think that I like is the very affordable price. I have used one month and I just want to say that this Razor exceeds my expectations.

My husband loves this shaver. When I read other folks reviews on this shaver one of the things they complained about was the sound...it was too noisy. I knew I would have to give this one a try. My husband complained about new shavers sounding like they were not working. This one sounds and shaves like a good old fashion shaver. Give it a try it does the job!

First let me say that I have a very heavy beard and fast growth. Twirling head shaver - like Norelco will not cut my beard, have tried as friends recommended. I have had a Remington in the past and was well satisfied, but went back to blades many years ago. I decided to try a Remington again after a great review in Consumer Reports. It is super fast and cuts as close as any electric shaver I have ever used. I get great battery life also; - can easily get 14-15 shaves per charge (although not important to me). It is a great shaver for the money. If and when this one dies, I will buy another just like it.

Remington MS2-390 great shaver so far.
So far very good. I got it because it was highly rated by consumer reports. I switched to the microscreen instead of the rotary style I had been using - much closer shave. The only problem is that if I don't shave for 3 or more days the microscreen doesn't handle the longer hair very well (the rotary did better). However it has a nice big trimmer that will cut it short enough for the microscreen to pick it up, so it just takes a little longer.

Only the third shaver I've owned but by far is the best. Single charge lasts all week. Closer shave than any shaver I've owned before. It is a little louder than my other shavers, and I've seen that it's been complained about. But unless you really care about it, I can't reduce the ratings. FIVE STARS!

I was looking for a good shaver for my boyfriend. He's an over the road truck driver, so using a razor isn't usually an option. I read the reviews of the Remington MS2-390 shaver and decided to buy it for him.
He LOVES it!! It gives him a really good shave and he said the charge lasts forever! He was out 12 days on his last run and said he didn't have to recharge the whole time. He likes that it can be used corded (in case the battery would run down) or cordless, and that it came with a travel bag. I think it's nice that you can rinse it in water but, again, he usually doesn't have that option.
In closing, he said it was the best gift I could have gotten for him. He had previously used a triple-head shaver and he likes the Remington so much better.

The Remington MicroScreen 500 MS2-390 gives a close shave at a very economical price. It's not as smooth as my old Norelco Rotary, but it gives a better shave. I'm definitely happy with the purchase.

I've had a lot of shavers in my more than fifty years of shaving and this is the best I've ever had. I get a really close shave and the shaver is ergonomicaly designed such that it's easy to hold for shaving in any direction and I really like the pop-up trimmer. I used to have the old "Classic" boxy Remington and had to turn it frequently. Having the charger in the cord is a real plus. I plug it in and charge it once a week for about 30 minutes and get a flashing light indicating a full charge. I would highly recommend this shaver.

This is my second Remington electric razor. My first, an MS2-290, was slowly dying after years of tough service. I decided to upgrade to an expensive Norelco Arcitec. I was completely disappointed with it. It took longer to shave and did not cut the hairs nearly as close, even after about a month of use. I have now switched back to a Remington foil razor (at a third of the price) and am completely satisfied.

Excellent Shaver!!! My husband is raving about this shaver. He bought a refurbished Braun a year ago and it did not work well after a month or two. The Remington was brand new, costed less, and works way better. He is a very happy man.

This shaver works well, not excellent but quite well. Little noisy, comfortable to handle, quick charging, very similar to last shaver I owned from Remington that has lasted at least 15 years but I thought I could use a new one.

This Remington microscreen gives a good shave, I find it to be noisy and a little awkward to handle. It holds a charge for about 60 minutes and gives adequate red light warning before it stops. The one hour recharge is standard for the industry. Because I was used to a rotary shaver, it took me awhile to get used to the broad head of the Remington, but it now works fine. The on/off button could be more responsive. I find that I usually have to press it a couple of times to get it to respond. Overall, It's a good shaver and I would probably buy it again.
